Gnarls Barkley are great. I got to work on a video for their single Save My Soul. The budget and deadline were ridiculously tight. I worked on look development of the cg heart character and lit some of the shots for this. Gnarls always put out cool concepts with talented directors, and this one was in the same vein, no pun intended. It was directed by Chris Milk and got a Grammy nomination for best music video and a VES nomination for “Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Broadcast Program or Commercial”.
